Good morning Pirates.
As shared last night, our full intention was to proceed with school today, but after a
comprehensive assessment of the district's back roads this morning, we
feel that there are just too many areas that would impact our ability to
safely transport a large percentage of our students to school today as
80% of all our bus routes have to travel down a portion of these roads. I
apologize for this as I understand the strain this can place on
families, the education of our students and the frustration many are
feeling, but given the feedback I have received, I cannot in good
conscious move forward with running school. Thus, SCHOOL IS CLOSED FOR
THURSDAY, JAN. 25.
