Pinckney Community Schools offers a Schools of Choice program for students who are interested in attending the district but reside outside district boundaries. Pinckney Community Schools will be accepting applications for students in grades K-12 who do not reside within the Pinckney Community Schools boundaries but reside within contiguous intermediate school districts in Livingston, Washtenaw, Oakland, Ingham, Genesee, and Shiawassee counties. This would include neighboring districts such as Whitmore Lake, Dexter, Chelsea, and Stockbridge, as well as the Livingston County districts of Brighton, Fowlerville, Howell, and Hartland.

New students can only be considered for the Schools of Choice Program at the start of each semester. Applications can be accepted no later than the published date in the Schools of Choice Application and are subject to the approved guidelines for this program.

Pinckney Community Schools is accepting applications for the second semester of the 2025/26 school year.
