Hello Pirates,

I am Deputy Jeremy Gwinn from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, and I am honored to serve as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for Pinckney Community Schools.

My primary role is to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors. I strive to provide a consistent, visible law enforcement presence across all our campuses to foster a secure learning environment.

As both a law enforcement officer and a school official, my focus is on promoting school safety, crime prevention, and positive student development. I achieve this by responding to emergencies, educating students on law-related topics, resolving conflicts, and striving to build lasting trust within our Community.

You will often see me in the hallways, lunchrooms, offices, and parking lots. I also attend many extracurricular activities and occasionally visit classrooms to present on law enforcement or school safety topics.
