Our highly-qualified teachers use the Orton Gillingham methodology and all five pillars of literacy-plus language comprehension to drive measurable gains for all students. Our programs are located within our elementary schools to give our youngest learners exposure to the elementary school setting. In addition, our preschool teachers work closely with our K-2 teachers to help students prepare for their next step, kindergarten!
Little Pirates Preschool offers free tuition through our GSRP partnership with LESA, as part of a county-wide collaborative. Click here for information on GSRP.
Registration for the '26-27 school year will open Feb. 1: pinckney.ce.eleyo.com.
How to Register
Three-Year-Old families: A $100 registration fee is required to hold a spot in the program.
Four-Year-Old families: Registration is a two-part process--you must complete the Little Pirates Preschool registration AND the GSRP application (startfreepreschool.org).
All registrants (regardless of the program) must upload a doctor-signed health appraisal and current immunization record upon registration (upload documents here). You do not have a confirmed spot in the program until these forms are on file.
Please note that while every effort is made to satisfy parent requests with regard to preferred school, classroom/building placement is based on enrollment and cannot be guaranteed.
Daily Schedule & Rates
Rates for the Three-Year-Old program ('25-26 school year) are listed below. You may choose to pay your child's tuition in full by September 1 and receive a 10% discount. Please email khultgren@pinckneypirates.org to have the discount applied.

Fridays release at 2:38pm with the rest of the school.
Attendance Expectations
We understand that occasional absences are unavoidable. Our preschool operates as a school setting—not a daycare—with a focus on structured routines and classroom expectations. Regular attendance, as outlined in the schedule above, helps support both your child’s learning and a consistent, focused environment for all students. We kindly ask that families follow the full schedule, as partial attendance can be disruptive to the class as a whole.
Age Requirements
Students must be 3 by Dec. 1, 2025, for the Three-Year-Old programs
Students must be 4 by Dec. 1, 2025, for the Four-Year-Old programs
