Drop off and Pick up

Beginning of Day

  • Parent Drop Off:  Parents will use the playground blacktop at the back of the building to drop off students starting at 8:40 am.  Staff will be helping students get to their classrooms. Students will make their way to their class upon entering the building. During phase 4, guests are not allowed in the building.  Students will enter school wearing masks. Hand sanitizer will be provided just inside the doors of the building and upon entering the classroom.

  • Bus Drop off:  Starting at 8:43 am, buses will release students.  During phase 4, each bus will dismiss one at a time at the front entrance.  Staff members will meet groups of students at their bus and walk them into the building to meet their teacher.  K-1 students will enter at the south end of the building and 2nd/3rd grade students will enter using the main door. Students will enter school wearing masks.  Hand sanitizer will be provided inside the main door and upon entering the classroom.

End of Day

  • Parent/Guardian Pick-up:  During Phase 4 visitors are not permitted in the building.  Students will meet their adult at the playground blacktop curb.  Each car picking up student(s) will be given a window sign indicating your child’s name and teacher. Please be sure that this sign is placed on your dashboard where staff can see it. Staff will bring your child out through back playground doors to meet their adult.

Daily Health Home Screening Checklist

We are asking each family to screen their child prior to sending them to school for the day.  We all have a responsibility to keep our students, staff and community safe.  Please click here for the Home Health Screening Checklist  Thank you for doing your part!

Seesaw

This is our online learning platform.  Seesaw has a family engagement component. This short video describes this piece.  You should have received an email invitation to your child’s Seesaw, as a family  member. If you have not received this email, contact your child’s teacher.  Please note that children have their own login for Seesaw Class, which is different then your login for Family Seesaw.

Enrollment Verification in MISTAR for 2020-21

All students in Pinckney Community Schools enrolled in PCS (online or face-to-face), please complete the re-enrollment process in MISTAR. This is a chance to verify your contact information, complete permission forms, etc.  You can complete the task in a few ways:

The beginning of each year is always a celebration of welcoming our students and families back to school.  This year is especially a time of celebration as we open our doors to both our in person and virtual learners.  As we head into this first week, we are implementing many new procedures and instructional practices including using a variety of technology to deliver instruction.   Please keep in mind…

Have a great day!
