It was wonderful to see so many families at Navigator Elementary’s open house last night.

Navigator Open House is August 24 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Happy Father's Day to all the men who are so important to our Navigators.

As our Navigators head out this afternoon for the last time this school year, we wish them all a wonderful, safe summer full of adventures and fun experiences with their families and friends. We have loved learning and growing with you this year and can't wait to see you in August. Catch ya later, Navigators!

Mrs. Curvin, Pathfinder teacher, and Mrs. Dingman, Navigator teacher, met Roxy and Willow today. Mrs. Curvin and Mrs. Dingman will be the dogs' handlers once they are ready. As you can see, the dogs (sisters) are doing very well with their training. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to A Pirate's Best Friend in order to make this project a reality!

Visit the Hamburg Township Library for a free craft to accompany your family's reading of Kenny & the Dragon!

Each morning, students hear a trivia question about their reading from Kenny & the Dragon. We celebrate with one winner from each grade. Each winner has the opportunity to select a book. Keep up the great reading, Navigators!

The results are in! The BIG reveal was this morning! All students through grade 6 will be reading Kenny & the Dragon!

Navigator had some special guests today to give our students some additional clues about the book we're all going to start reading tomorrow...after the BIG REVEAL.

Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you to all who work in the PCS Transportation Department to get our Navigators safely to school and back home each day. We appreciate you!

Navigator students took advantage of the first measurable snowfall of the season. It's safe to say they love the change in seasons!

While practicing fractions, Mr. Sharon's students did pushups to show their answers: working the body and the mind.

October is National Principals Month! We’ll be celebrating Principal McDole all month long. Mrs. Janet McDole has been a PCS pirate for 19+ years and she has worked at every building in the district. She is currently the principal of Navigator Upper Elementary. She is our district crisis response coordinator and was instrumental in developing our AI program in the district. Mrs. McDole is adaptable, flexible, and an advocate for all kids. She is also a huge UofM fan but more importantly, she loves chickens! Thank you Janet for being a fearless leader in our district. #ThankAPrincipal

Mr. Dinkel and Mrs. Harris worked together with a 6th-grade art class today! While students worked on Zentangle patterns, Mr. Dinkel played relaxing music on his guitar.
