🎉 Field Day Fun at Navigator Elementary! ☀️⚽🏊♂️🌭
Today was a day full of energy, excitement, and smiles as Navigator Elementary held our annual Field Day! The day kicked off on a patriotic note with the National Anthem beautifully sung by three of our talented 5th graders during morning announcements. 🇺🇸🎤
Students rotated through a variety of fun field events, played kickball, and even enjoyed some time swimming in the pool! 🏃♀️🏅⚾💦
For lunch, everyone gathered for a delicious BBQ picnic followed by a cool Kona Ice treat—perfect for a sunny day! 🍔🍧
Thank you to our staff and volunteers for helping make this a memorable day for all! ❤️

🌟 Shoutout to Navigator Elementary's Fifth Grade Leadership Team! 🌟
We’re so proud of this incredible group of students who have gone above and beyond to support our school community. From collecting lunch counts and breakfast bag deliveries to helping with paper recycling, the talent show, and Fall Fest — their dedication shines in everything they do!
This year, their service project focused on something truly special: supporting the PCS Therapy Dog Program. Through hard work and teamwork, they organized and ran a holiday store during Christmas time and raised $500 for this amazing cause. 🐾❤️
Way to go, Fifth Grade Leaders — your kindness, responsibility, and leadership are making a big difference! 👏🎉

Navigator PTO hosted the Ice Cream Social. Students enjoyed making (and eating sundaes), playing outside, and jumping in the bounce house.

Great morning for a walk or bike ride to school this morning. Navigator and Country Elementary students participated in National Walk/Bike/Roll to School.

Elementary families of current first through fourth-graders! This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to participate in a literacy and leadership summer camp. See flyer below:-)

Please look around for any Navigator Library books and return to school. We are starting the process of closing the library for the 2024-25 school year.

Today, the author of the book, Mr. Lemoncello's Very First Game came to Navigator and present his writing experience and inspirations for his book topics. It was an engaging experience for our students and fun way to celebrate this year's One District, One Book reading event.

Navigator Elementary is reading Mr. Lemoncello's Very First Game. Students got to enjoy carnival games (donated by 5 Little Monkeys) as an activity to make the story come alive.

Last night Navigator Elementary held our 3rd annual Dance-A-Thon. A special thanks to the PTO for organizing a fun event for the kids and the many volunteers who helped. It was perfect timing after being stuck in doors for the past 3 days due to the bitter cold snap. This event raised $8, 500 for the PTO. Though not quite hitting their goal, the PTO appreciates the generous donations, which go right back into our school community for student activities, classroom materials and supporting the many school initiatives such as Watch DOGS, field trip scholarships and after school clubs.

During P.E. classes this month, students are participating in a swim unit.

Navigator Safety Day is today. Local first responders are presenting to students about their role in our community, tools of their trade, as well as helpful information about safety.

Colonel Don Packard visited our 3rd grade students this morning and handed a dictionary to each student that were donated by the Kiwanis.

Miss Green’s music class invited families to join this week when their child has music. Families watched the kids perform and learned about general music program.

PCS partnered with the EMU nursing program. Student nurses have an opportunity to do an internship in a community setting for a semester. Nurses help our students during the school day as well as give presentations to classes on health and safety.

Navigator students had an opportunity to vote for the t-shirt design for the school shirt. Each student could submit a design during art class.

This Friday is Elementary Night at the PCS Football Game.

We are hiring substitutes for Special Education Aides at Navigator Elementary.

Please note the updated dates for the PCS Book Bus

PCS Book Bus is making its way around the community this summer. Check out locations and dates for these events.

Some of our fourth grade students engaged in an activity by exploring artifacts "from the past" and guessed their use. They had a lot of questions. My favorite was "The Clapper" . The kids thought it was a phone charger.
