Navigator hosted Breakfast and Books this week. Students and families enjoyed coming together to visit as well as shop the Scholastic Book Fair. Students will have an opportunity to shop for books with their class.

During the past few weeks, students have been learning about PRIDE. This stands for Problem solving, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Empathy. These are our expectations taught to students and reviewed throughout the day in different settings around the school.

Mrs. Kanerva’s students are researching the Presidents of the United States.

Mr. Kelly’s class is learning new vocabulary and concepts associated with geography and using maps.

A group of thoughtful 5th grade students wanted to uplift their classmates by writing inspirational notes and placing them on their lockers. We have wonderful students here at Navigator!

Welcome back Navigator students after the long weekend break.

Happy Father's Day to all the men who are so important to our Navigators.

As our Navigators head out this afternoon for the last time this school year, we wish them all a wonderful, safe summer full of adventures and fun experiences with their families and friends. We have loved learning and growing with you this year and can't wait to see you in August.
Catch ya later, Navigators!

Mrs. Curvin, Pathfinder teacher, and Mrs. Dingman, Navigator teacher, met Roxy and Willow today. Mrs. Curvin and Mrs. Dingman will be the dogs' handlers once they are ready. As you can see, the dogs (sisters) are doing very well with their training. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to A Pirate's Best Friend in order to make this project a reality!

Happy Mother's Day!

Visit the Hamburg Township Library for a free craft to accompany your family's reading of Kenny & the Dragon!

Each morning, students hear a trivia question about their reading from Kenny & the Dragon. We celebrate with one winner from each grade. Each winner has the opportunity to select a book. Keep up the great reading, Navigators!

The results are in! The BIG reveal was this morning! All students through grade 6 will be reading Kenny & the Dragon!

Navigator had some special guests today to give our students some additional clues about the book we're all going to start reading tomorrow...after the BIG REVEAL.
