
Taco Tuesday lunch for Teacher Appreciation organized by Navigator PTO. We love our teachers!

This week we had 2 volunteers join us with the Navigator Watch DOGS program: Mr. Goldman and Mr. Grima. It is wonderful to have our parent and grandparent volunteers each week not just with Watch DOGS but also for other classroom and building activities including the many chaperones at Fifth grade camp. Thank you for your support!


The fourth grade is learning about the Earth’s system in science.


Our 5th graders are enjoying camp. Each day and evening is filled with fun activities. Students are getting directions for upcoming activities and enjoying yummy meals. The kids are at camp this week for 3 days and night.




Mr. Grima spent the day volunteering as a Watch DOG. Checking for secured doors and spending time helping students are the primary roles. Mr. Lemay was with us just last week. We are very fortunate to have so many dads and grandfathers part of the volunteer program at Navigator Elementary this year.

This week our 5th grade students were able to hear and try instruments as they decide which musical elective to take next year in 6th grade.

Olympian, Jake Vedder returned to PCS and presented to Navigator Elementary students about his experiences as a professional athlete including the hard work and challenges. He promoted the value of setting goals, positive self talk and determination in every aspect your life.





Mr. Winkelman spent the day with us as part of the Navigator Watch DOGS program.


Mrs. Shappell’s hosted a donut party for the winning classes from the ODOB art challenge through the month of March.

Flora “hammed it up” today while presenting at our End of Book celebration. This week we finished Flora’s adventures as we complete the story and activities for The Adventures of a South Pole Pig.
