First day of school is Tuesday, September 8th. This is a half day with dismissal at 12:26 pm.
Country Elementary (Virtual) Open House is September 2
5:00-5:30 pm Kinder/KR and 1st grade
5:30-6:00 pm 2nd and 3rd grade
Teachers emailed information to access their Open House Session.
Latchkey
Community Education is accepting applications for latchkey. This service will be available before and after school as well as Fridays. You can find information about latchkey on the website: https://www.pinckneypirates.org/o/district/page/latchkey
Student placement information will be sent out through email on August 31. Open House (virtual) will be on September 2. Your child's teacher will email you the details to access their open house session.
Today our new Kindergarten students took a "self-guided" tour of Country Elementary. It was wonderful to meet so many families.

2.) Send a picture of your child with their Kids Read Now book and caption with your child's name, school, the title of the book, and something they liked about the book.
3.) We want your student to receive all 9 of their FREE Kids Read Now books. Remember to enter your codes as soon as you receive your books.

All of us here at Country Elementary miss each and every one of you very much. Please snuggle in and enjoy as we read a story to you over the next few weeks. Each chapter will be recorded and posted on Flipgrid. The link to Flipgrid is in your Seesaw.
WHMI held a contest "Making the Grade" to recognize great teachers in Livingston County. Mrs. Rau was nominated by Mrs. Hoeft, one of her classroom parents and WHMI chose her! It was very exciting for the class when the radio station came into the classroom to present Mrs. Rau with the award.
