Operation Christmas Wish

Dear Pirate Families,

We need your help! The Leadership and LINK Crew class at Pinckney Community High School is on a mission to make this holiday season brighter for the children in our community, and we can't do it without your support. We are a group of high school students who have chosen to work on developing our leadership skills in order to help better ourselves, our community, and our world.

We have a unique opportunity to be part of a special project called Operation Christmas Wishes in partnership with the Yoga Strong Foundation, where we will adopt the Ford Early Learning Center in Ypsilanti, MI, for the holidays. We will buy, wrap, and deliver winter hats, cozy gloves, and a toy for each of the approximately 375 students at this school.  About 80% of the families at Ford ELC struggle financially to have enough money for daily meals and stable housing.  Check out this video from our 2024 project

These young children, aged 3 to 7, deserve to experience joy during the holidays, and together, we can make a real difference in their lives. Our goal is to raise $11,250 by Friday, November 14th—just $30 per child to ensure they receive a warm hat, cozy gloves, and a special toy. If every student in Pinckney Community Schools donated just $5, we would reach our goal!

Our goal is to raise $11,250 by Friday, November 14th (375 kids x $30 per kid). There are approximately 2000 students in Pinckney Community Schools, which means that if each student donated $5, we would reach our goal.  You can donate here using this Zeffy link

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge impact. If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out to Matt Jerome at mjerome@pinckneypirates.org or (810) 225-5508.

Thank you for helping us bring joy to our community this holiday season!

With gratitude,

PCHS Leadership and LINK Crew Class
