Every year, over 51 million school hours are lost due to poor oral health. Smile Programs...the Mobile Dentists program addresses this national crisis by offering in-school dental care, bringing the care to the kids in need at NO COST to Country Elementary!! This year, the dentist will be visiting our school on Monday, October 28th, 2019 during the school day.
Your child(ren) will be bringing home an application for this service. If you are interested, please fill it out and return it to your child(ren)’s classroom teacher by September 30, 2019. If your child(ren) were seen this past spring, there is no need to fill out another application! They will automatically receive their 6 month check up as well.
By participating in this program, your child(ren) will see a state licensed dentist who will check your child(ren)’s mouth and teeth, provide a cleaning, x-rays as necessary, fluoride treatment and apply sealants, as needed. A dental report card and new toothbrush will be sent home with your child.
